Agreement Version 2.3 · Legally Binding Platform Contract for Learners, Mentors & Organizations.
Agreement to Terms
By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using the Mentorfinders platform (the “Platform”), you expressly enter into a legally binding contract with Mentorfinders and agree to abide by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and our Escrow Refund Policy.
If you are registering on behalf of an enterprise or institution, you represent and warrant that you possess the legal authority to bind that entity to this Agreement.
Eligibility & Account Integrity
To maintain the high professional standard of our ecosystem, every user must adhere to the following account rules:
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to book sessions or receive payouts.
All certifications, education degrees, job titles, and experience claims submitted by mentors must be 100% genuine and subject to manual audit verification.
Each email address is bound to a single account and designated primary role (Learner/Mentee, Expert/Mentor, or Administrator) to maintain platform integrity.
Mentorship Sessions & Bookings
Mentorfinders operates as a verified facilitator for 1-on-1 strategy sessions, group mentorship workshops, and marketplace custom assignments:
- Booking Confirmation: Session bookings remain pending until the assigned mentor confirms their availability and schedule time slot.
- Duration Standards: Standard mentorship sessions are designed for 60 to 90 minutes. In-room real-time timer countdowns and live audio/video tools are integrated into the booking room.
- Job Marketplace Bids: When a mentee posts a job request, mentors may submit competitive proposals. Accepting a proposal locks the budget in escrow.
Financial Escrow & Platform Fee Structure
To ensure 100% financial security, Mentorfinders uses an automated Escrow Holding Protocol:
- Escrow Debit: When a booking or job request is confirmed, payment is captured from the mentee and stored securely in an authorized escrow holding pool.
- Disbursement Window: Funds are released to the mentor's wallet 48 hours following session completion, provided no disputes are raised.
- Transparent Platform Fee: Mentorfinders retains a nominal platform maintenance fee on completed paid sessions to maintain server infrastructure and verification desks.
Acceptable Conduct & Prohibited Acts
All users must maintain high professional conduct. The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Harassment, discrimination, offensive language, or unprofessional behavior during video sessions.
- Uploading malicious files, worms, or executing automated scraping bots against mentor profiles.
- Misrepresenting academic credentials, claiming fake employment histories, or submitting falsified identity proofs.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Advice provided by mentors is intended solely for educational, coaching, and career guidance. Mentorfinders does not guarantee specific promotions or outcomes.
Mentorfinders' total aggregate liability arising out of any claim shall not exceed the net platform fees collected for the specific session in dispute.
Account Suspension & Governing Law
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement. This Agreement is governed by international commercial arbitration and digital commerce standards.
